Far Isles Medieval Society, Foundation and Independence Revel. St Briavels Castle, Forest of Dean

This shot shows Guy Elfkin (newly announced heir to the throne of the Far Isles) and his two predecessors, Prince-Archbishop Theophilus and Her Sainted Serenity Helouisa in the dining room at St Briavels Castle.

My costume is descended from the second one I made for Guy, back in the early 1990's. The doublet is "borrowed" from another, much later costume (the sleeves are pinned to it) and the hose are the fourth (and best) pair I've made to go with it. The original doublet is half way being altered to fit now that I've gained 31/2 stone (about 50 pounds) and the previous 3 pairs of hose all split as I grew bigger.... see page one for how it looked when it was new.
